Byron Walleye Extravaganza II

September 7, 2024: 7 am - 2 pm

Entry Fee: $50.00 per team (1 or 2 students and 1 boat captain). Contestants may enter as a two or three-person team.  (1 youth angler and a boat captain or 2 youth anglers and a boat captain).

All entry fees have a no-refund policy. Sign-up will be through the Google Form Sign Up. The entry fee can be paid via the Byron Fishing Team (BFT) Venmo (@byronfishingteam).

Total payback of 70%. Prizes awarded: 1s t - 45%, 2nd - 25%, 3rd - 15%, 4th - 10%, 5th - 5%, and random prizes for other teams.

The tournament limit is the best seven (7) fish weights used in the Catch-Record-Release (CRR) format using the Reel Livewell App and the Timestamp Camera App. The minimum length of eligible fish is 15 inches. 

WATERS: Mississippi River, Lake Pepin (Pool 4) (Boat inspection information to be announced at orientation meeting). 

BOUNDARIES: Lock & Dam #3, Red Wing, MN to Lock & Dam #4, Alma, WI

Mandatory Orientation and Rules meeting: Friday, September 6th, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. at 1401 Levee Rd. Red Wing, MN. The rules meeting will take place in the gravel lot, with your boat number and fish ID card being handed out.

AWARDS MEETING: Prizes will be awarded following the tournament conclusion on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 starting at 3:30 pm near 1401 Levee Rd. Red Wing, MN.
