SEPTEMBER EVENTS/ REMINDERS

9/7 - Next Team Meeting will change to a Sunday at 7pm @ BHS.

9/14- Team Fishing Event at Clear Lake from 8-12 with a provided lunch. More info to come!

9/19- Byron High School Homecoming Parade (high schoolers can only participate)

OCTOBER 5th- End of the year banquet! More info to come in your email. Stay tuned!

FIshing Team Schedule  (updated 3/27)

Currently we have the 2025 schedule for the SATT posted. Here's some information about SATT.

The 2025 Lund Virtual Fishing tournaments- Participants in these events range from ages 5 through graduated seniors. Teams may consist of two young/student anglers accompanied by an adult boat captain or one young/student angler paired with an adult team mate.  There is an additional cost to the participants that isn't covered by the Fishing team.

• We will have monthly meetings for most of the year. Come on time and be prepared for the meeting. Listen to the speakers and participate in any hands-on activities.
• Refrain from talking to those sitting by you while there is a presenter speaking.
• Most meetings will be held from 6-8pm at Byron High School commons, unless announced with a different location.  Meetings will consist of a guest speaker, fishing techniques, etc...
• Meeting Dates:     March 2, April 4, June 9, July 21, August 18 and Sept. 8.

The registration fee is $150.00 for students in grades 6-12 -This includes your team jersey, annual SATT and TBF memberships and club sponsored tournament fees.  Junior rate is $75 for students in grades K-5 -This includes a team shirt and club sponsored event. Registration will open November 1st 2024 for the 2025 Fishing Year!

 We will have ongoing fishing contests during the year. Details will be made available for each contest. Don't forget we use the App Fish Donkey!

We will have team fundraising and community volunteering events throughout the year. These will be announced with as much advanced notice as possible. Watch your email and check the website for these announcements. These events are not only to raise money for our team but give back to the community and businesses that have supported us!

Participate in the BFT Ice Fishing Contest! Currently going until April 1st 2025! 

* Ice fishing contest for Byron Fishing Team anglers ONLY.
*Cash or prizes will be awarded to the top positions of each leaderboard.
*Download the FishDonkey app to participate.

 *Leaderboard will update during the contest and pictures will be posted to the Byron Fishing Team Facebook page.
The categories and species official rules are in the FishDonkey app.
