To participate in ANY Junior Angler Tournament Trail (JATT) event, each angler MUST be a current member of the Student Angler Federation (SAF). This requires an annual one-time $25 membership fee to the cover the annual National Dues. It provides anglers with limited insurance coverage for eligible events and other membership benefits. You can register with our Mother Club – MN Youth Fishing Org if you need a membership. Contact us directly for more information. All SAF registration must be completed before you can register for any JATT event. If you are already part of a Junior Fishing team your head coach should be able to help you with the SAF membership.
Each JATT Event will have a separate registration that will open at 6pm on the Thursday, 6 weeks prior to the event date. The registration process will identify a two-person angler team, boat captain and collect the tournament fee of $50 per team ($25 per person) fee. The tournament fee is nonrefundable to ensure thoughtful registration for each event. Teams must complete the online registration for each event and can pay online via PayPal or Credit Card.
Please submit accurate information so tournament organizers can minimize challenges with verifying duplicate teams, contact information, waiver forms, etc.
Tournament registrations will close the Tuesday prior to the event at 10 PM. This will allow for tournament organizers time to finalize administrative functions necessary to host a quality event. NO walk-up registrations will be accepted at the rule’s meetings or at the events.
If a tournament fills to the allowed boat capacity your registration will be placed on a Waiting List. Teams on the waiting list will be notified via email if there is an opening for the event in first come first serve order.
