• 14th Annual Youth Ice Fishing Expo: Feb. 7
• Walleye Searchers Annual Spring Seminar: March 14
• Reel Midwest Annual Spring Seminar: April 11, TBD
• Walleye Searchers 2-day Tournament (LPO): April 25-26 
• Byron Walleye Extravaganza IV: June 6, TBD
• Fishing with Dave: Sign-up Genius
• LVFL and SATT events
• Student anglers presentation from previous SATT event of strategy and techniques used
• Fishing with a Cop
• Byron Good Neighbors Day Fun Day & Parade (If schedules allow)

• We will have monthly meetings for most of the year. Come on time and be prepared for the meeting. Listen to the speakers and participate in any hands-on activities.
• Refrain from talking to those sitting by you while there is a presenter speaking.
• Most meetings will be held from 6-8pm at Byron High School commons, unless announced with a different location.  Meetings will consist of a guest speaker, fishing techniques, etc...
• Meeting Dates:    TBA for 2026

The registration fee is $150.00 for students in grades 6-12 -This includes your team jersey, annual SATT and TBF memberships and club sponsored tournament fees.  Junior rate is $75 for students in grades K-5 -This includes a team shirt and club sponsored event. Registration will open January 2026!

 We will have ongoing fishing contests during the year. Details will be made available for each contest. Don't forget we use the App Fish Donkey!

We will have team fundraising and community volunteering events throughout the year. These will be announced with as much advanced notice as possible. Watch your email and check the website for these announcements. These events are not only to raise money for our team but give back to the community and businesses that have supported us! We help with Horse Races with the Byron Youth Football Association and we support the assist with the yearly Bingo game at Tilted Tavern here in Byron.

Participate in the BFT Ice Fishing Contest! Currently going until April 1st 2025! 

* Ice fishing contest for Byron Fishing Team anglers ONLY.
*Cash or prizes will be awarded to the top positions of each leaderboard.
*Download the FishDonkey app to participate.

 *Leaderboard will update during the contest and pictures will be posted to the Byron Fishing Team Facebook page.
The categories and species official rules are in the FishDonkey app.
